The community is an integral part of the education of a child. We ascribe to the philosophy that it truly "takes a village to raise a child". Having strong community partnerships is essential to our school district's success, and we too want to be a good partner with our local partners in order to move our entire county forward.

Parents, Students, Members of the Community,
Due to an increase of Covid-19 occurrences in our county, the decision has been made to resume virtual learning for all students during the week of Oct. 20 through Oct. 26. Students will not attend in-person classes during that week. We will then re-evaluate the number of Covid-19 cases in our community to make the decision to return to in-person classes for the week of October 27-30. Clay County Public Schools wants to remind everyone that the health and safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance and that we remain committed to the belief that traditional in-person instruction is most beneficial for our students. We look forward to having our students back in the buildings as soon as possible.
We apologize for this change and thank you for your support, patience and understanding as we make these difficult decisions.
