
A Dual Credit information workshop for parents and students in grades 9-12. This workshop will provide information that parents and students need to know about Dual Credit classes that CCHS offers. The workshop will be held March 15 at 5:00 pm at the Clay County high school library.

We are excited to announce that the L. Stanley Pigman Scholarship application for the 2022-2023 academic year is officially open for all current high school seniors across 29 counties within the region. Applicants for this award must an upcoming graduate from a high school in one of the following counties: Bell, Breathitt, Carter, Clay, Elliott, Estill, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Johnson, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Lawrence, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, McCreary, Menifee, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, Pike, Powell, Rockcastle, Whitley, and Wolfe. Additionally, applicants must be a first-generation student, meaning neither parent or guardian has earned a four-year degree.

Applicants will complete the online application and are required to solicit two teacher recommendations. Applicants are asked to share the following link included in the application section with teachers.
Also, available is the Robinson Scholarship, students interested in applying for the long-standing scholarship may apply online through the University of Kentucky’s ScholarshipUniverse portal located here: https://uky.scholarshipuniverse.com/
Please encourage your current seniors to apply for ALL scholarships for which they are eligible, as this increases the likelihood of maximizing their financial aid award. Information regarding the Robinson Scholarship application for the 2022-2023 academic year coming soon.
